Enrollment Procedures and Policies

Admission to Fun Fun Daycare is based upon a first come first serve basis, but special consideration will be given to parents who already have children enrolled in the Center. We open to all children regardless of race, color, nationality, ethnicity, or disability. If a class is full, the child’s name will be placed on a waiting list. When an opening occurs, parents on the waiting list will be contacted in the order in which they were placed on the list.

Application Process

1) Schedule an interview or tour for you and your child with the center director.
2) Review Parent Handbook and other materials on the FFDC website. Feel free to call with any questions or for references.
3) Submit an Application Form to FFDC via email.
4) We will place your child on the waiting list and notify you when an opening becomes available. Selection for admission will be determined by FFDC’s ability to meet your family’s needs.

General Policies

1) FFDC does not allow the presence of any pets on the premises due to consideration of the health and safety of all children in our care and staff members.
2) FFDC reserves the right to determine general staffing arrangements and policies. During normal daycare hours, the provider is present to care for the children with the help of a volunteer if needed. A co-provider or substitute would be present when the provider must be absent for doctor appointments, personal emergencies or obligations.
3) FFDC will be CLOSED for an annual two-week vacation that would be announced in advance by the provider.
4) FFDC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and/or ethnic origin, or disability in the admission of students, the employment of staff, or in the administration of its policies.
5) Children with special needs may be enrolled at FFDC if their developmental and social needs can be met with reasonable accommodations and without fundamentally altering the objectives of the program.

Mandatory Withdrawal Policy:

Fun Fun Daycare may terminate a child’s enrollment as follows:

• Upon two weeks’ notice for the following reasons:

1. Parental failure to abide by center policies and enrollment agreement

2. Center’s program is not meeting developmental or special needs of the child as determined by the educational director

• Immediate withdrawal may result for the following reasons:

1. Health or behavioral reasons that threaten the safety, health, or well-being of the child or other children and staff

2. Chronic disregard of tuition policies

3. A pattern of late pick-up

4. Other conducts of parent/guardians or a child that threatens the well-being of other children or staff
